Five days after Queen Elizabeth's funeral in London, where he attended with his wife, Marie-Chantal and his mother, Anna Maria, former Greek royal Prince Pavlos (Gluecksburg), participated in a charity gala in London.

In particular, the son of the former King Constantine participated in the events of The Hellenic Initiative and was one of the speakers at the gala.

Despite the fact that the loss of Queen Elizabeth plunged the whole of Great Britain and the Commonwealth countries into mourning, the atmosphere was energic as after the speeches given by the guests, the gala continued with dancing and Greek singing.

Despina Vandi took to the stage, who performed favourite hits which delighted the son of the former king who got up and danced to the zeibekiko song Prin Hathi To Oniro Mas (Before our dream is lost) by Tolis Voskopoulos.

It should be noted that in the event for the Greek diaspora in Britain, 305,000 pounds (347,000 euros) was collected - from donations, tickets and the auction of dozens of items - an amount that will be allocated to charitable purposes in Greece.

The gala, which coincided with THI's ten year anniversary, was held at The Dorchester Hotel in Mayfair, Central London.

The donation was given by 370 guests, both from the Greek community in Britain, as well as representatives of the British and international business world.
