Acropolis: Tourist fell from Areopagus Hill and died

Tragedy unfolded at noon on Tuesday near the Acropolis when a 30-year-old tourist fell from the Areopagus Hill.

The young woman from Spain was picked up by an ambulance unconscious but unfortunately ended up dead.

The cause of the fall, which occurred at 12:40 in the morning, is being investigated by the police, while there are testimonies from eyewitnesses who said that she lost her balance while taking a photo.
