Iliana Papageorgiou, on the occasion of her new television stage, "Love Island" on SKAI, spoke to "Hello" magazine and admitted that if she were free she would take part as a contestant on the love reality show.
Speaking about "Love Island" and the criticism she has received, the presenter replied: "It will definitely be criticised for many reasons. Some will like it, some won't. Everyone has their own perspective."
"I don't think a project has ever been implemented without negative comments. Some like us, some don't. We shouldn't focus on negative comments unless they help us improve," she continued.
When asked if she would go as a contestant, the model said: "If I were free. With so many messages I get from my besties, wanting to find a match, go on a date and so on, I'm wondering if I should take them and we should do Love Island."
The Patras-born Greek model won Miss Greece in 2011.
Standing one metre and seventy six centimetres, Papageorgiou previously worked as a professional model thanks to contracts with various fashion agencies, including the Why Not Model Agency.
As a winner of the national beauty title, she represented Greece at Miss Universe 2011, which was held in the Brazilian megacity of São Paulo on September 12, 2011.
