Turkish NBA star Enes Freedom landed yesterday in Athens and was quick to declare his love once again for Greece and the Greek people whilst at the same time taking a swipe at Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who he called a dictator.

Enes made the comments during an interview with Greek media, where he began commenting on the tensions between Greece and Turkey, which he holds the Turkish President responsible for and reminded everyone that Erdogan does not represent the Turkish people.

"I represent the Turkish people. We love Greece. We love the Greek people." enthuses Freedom.

The former Portland Trail Blazers player, who has repeatedly stated that he would like to play for Panathinaikos, in his post wrote, "Hello Greece 🇬🇷❤️", without clarifying whether the reasons for his trip to our country are related to the basketball.

Freedom also commented on Erdogan's threats against Greek sovereignty and the Aegean islands, saying the situation is out of control of the man that not only threatens Greece but Turkey also, reminding the interviewer of all the innocent people the Turkish President has imprisoned without trial, including members of his own family.
