Vienna Open: Tsitsipas cursed his father and kicked him off the court (VIDEO)

Stefanos Tsitsipas

It is not the first time, nor will it be the last, that something like this has happened in a match involving Stefanos Tsitsipas.

The Greek tennis player is in Vienna this week. He lost his nerve 1st set when Dennis Novak broke him in the 7th game.

Tsitsipas burst out and yelled out to where his father, mother and trainer were sitting: "You're a malaka, you're a malaka". A little later he told them to leave.

It is not the first time that Stefanos Tsitsipas has lashed out at his father, such as this infamous incident from 2020.

In 2020 in Australia, he had a tantrum at his father and almost hit him with the racket! His move provoked the reaction of his mother who put him back in his place.

At the US Open and in a game with Borna Coric, the Greek tennis player had chased his father off the court to make amends after losing a game through his own hands.

They have even fought in training in Mallorca.

However, every year on Father's Day, Tsitsipas wishes his father a congratulations. A few months ago the son had given the father an Aston Martin as a present.
