According to the Geodynamic Institute of Athens, the 5.5-magnitude earthquake occurred on Monday morning off Kasos at 01:25 and had an epicenter 63 Km NW of Kasos.
The focal depth of the earthquake was 46.9 km and was felt both in Crete, Karpathos and Rhodes, while a new tremor of magnitude 3.1 followed.
