Maria Sakkari and Konstantinos Mitsotakis holiday in the beautiful island of Crete where the Greek prime minister family was born.

The tennis player uploaded a photo with her lover on social media and wrote in the caption: “Two double espressos, times two.”

Currently Maria Sakkari has taken a break from Tennis and will appear next with Team Greece in Australia.

Maria Sakkari and Stefanos Tsitsipas will play at the United Cup and Greece is the top seed due to their respective rankings.

Both Tsitsipas and Sakkari are ranked fairly high which is the main reason their country will be the top seed at the event. Both love playing for Greece and always talk about how they want to inspire a new generation of tennis players from Greece.

Sakkari herself can’t wait for the event saying:

“Mainly what I am excited about is that Greece is a very small country, as I mentioned many times. We will be probably the number 1 seeds, if our rankings stay the same. I think it’s pretty special for our country like this to have. If we are the number 1 or number 2 seed in the United Cup, I think it’s enormous. Just a country like Greece in front of all the big countries like the USA, England, France and Germany. Just to have a country the leader of that Cup, it’s big.

The event will run from January 6th till the 8th
