MINA II: Greek and Egyptian Air Forces conduct joint exercise - See photos

The very good level of relations between Greece and Egypt, which has caused a headache in Turkey, is confirmed by the "MINA II" exercise that took place from Sunday to Tuesday in the wider area of ​​the Cairo Flight Information Region (FIR), with the participation of fighter jets from both countries.

The Bilateral Air Exercise between Greece and Egypt is part of the wider planning of the Greek Air Force in relation to international collaborations to strengthen the synergy and military cooperation between participating countries.

The MINA II exercise took place immediately after the conclusion of the "MEDUSA 12" military exercises.

According to the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (GEETHA) announcement, "complex air scenarios were executed that covered the entire range of air operations, such as:

- Air Combat between different types of Aircraft (Dissimilar Air Combat Training - DACT).
- Offensive Counter Air Operations (OCA).
- Defensive Counter Air (DCA)."
