The modification follows Greece's adoption of a new law, 4957/2022, that aims to promote knowledge exchange, job mobility, and stronger ties between Australia and Greece.
The Australian Embassy in Greece stated on Facebook that it will be "extremely simple and uncomplicated" to be added to Greece's National Register of Recognized Foreign Universities.
Holders of a Bachelor's Degree (minimum duration of 3 years), a Master's Degree (minimum duration of 1 year), a Juris Doctor or a PhD from the 45 Australian universities in the list can now expect to be granted academic equivalence in 60 days from the day of application to DOATAP (Hellenic National Academic Recognition and Information Centre)
