CRETE: Pakistani man breaks into house and attempts to rape owner

A case of attempted rape is being investigated by the police authorities of Ierapetra in Crete.

Only hours after a 13-year-old testified to police that she was a victim of rape, the police received a new complaint, this time about an attempted rape in the same area.

According to Creta Post, the incident happened on Saturday when a 32-year-old man broke into the house of a 50-year-old woman and attempted to rape her.

She raised the voices, causing the 32-year-old to flee the house.

In a state of shock, the 50-year-old went to the police station and reported the incident.

Police are investigating the case while searching for the 32-year-old, who is originally from Pakistan.
