French Deputy Minister for Foreign Trade Olivier Becht encouraged the investment of French companies in Greece, at the forum "Greece-France Cooperation 2.0: Investing in the Future" on Tuesday.

Becht mentioned the sectors of infrastructure, tourism, environment, power networks, and technology, with an emphasis on digital services and shipping.

He also encouraged Greek companies to invest in France, and pointed out that the national plan "France 2030" worth 54 billion euros was focused on innovation in mobility, artificial intelligence, quantum mechanics, and digital libraries.

"Greek and French relations have more room to grow," he underlined.

The forum, an initiative put into action in 2020, aims at improving Greek-French collaboration in key economic sectors and the promotion of joint enterprises between Greek and French businesses.

The Greek business delegation includes representatives of the sectors of shipping, energy, construction, pharmaceuticals, and technology.

Several ministers and company executives from Greece participated, while the forum is organized by the Greek-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Paris Chamber of Commerce and the Greek government.
