At the age of 90, the singer Dimitris Mouzas passed away on Wednesday. Spyros Bibilas announced the unpleasant news in a post on Facebook yesterday.
"Goodbye to the old singer Dimitris Mouzas who passed away this morning from coronavirus. He was hospitalised for 20 days, first in Gennimatas and then in Sotiria, the last week in ICU.
"He was born on May 31, 1932 in Volos. He was a duo for 42 years with Lefteris Lignos (also deceased) who was also the godfather of his daughter Marilena.
"In the film 'The Bait' by Alekos Sakellariou, he performed - dubbing Kostas Fyssoun, brother of Petros Fyssoun, in the song 'Let your hand' in the wonderful scene with Aliki Vougiouklakis and Vangelis Voulgaridis.
"His funeral will take place next Monday at the Ilioupoli cemetery.
"Condolences to his wife Hera and his daughters Marilena and Konstantina. In the photos with his friend and partner Ligno, and having fun with his bouzouki, Andreas Papandreou, Paul Anka and Tely Savalas".
