Stefanos Tsitsipas was impressive in the first set, managing to win it 6-0 (!) in just 26 minutes.
Coric came back in the second set, erased two match points of Tsitsipas and managed to make it 1-1 in the tie break (7-6).
In the third set, the Croatian was one breath away from victory when he led 4-1, but the Greek tennis player showed his spirit, managed to turn the game around (6-5) and after losing five match points took the set and a great victory .
Stefanos Tsitsipas leveled the series at 1-1 with Croatia, who had taken the lead thanks to Vekic’s 2-0 set win against Despina Papamihail.
The baton now passes to Maria Sakkari, who at 11.30 faces Petra Martic for 2-1.
