Netflix is set to release another blockbuster documentary, this time about the life of Pamela Anderson - sex, her romance with a Greek-American and her personal life.

The blonde bombshell, as she has been characterised over the decades, has inspired screenwriters, writers and directors with her turbulent life, which includes plenty of romances but also a - stolen - sex tape.
The big and small screen has often occupied the public's interest with the woman who remains unforgettable in her red swimsuit running on the beaches of California for the filming of Baywatch .
Netflix, in a new strategy, is releasing one documentary after another. As it seems, the internationally famous streaming platform has invested millions in the lives of famous personalities and murderers, hoping to earn even more from subscribers, who curiously watch the episodes at the speed of light.
Of course, the primaries of this logic are owned by the "rebels" of Buckingham, both of whom, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, expressed their suffering in front of billions of people.

Unlike the recent Hulu TV series "Pam and Tommy", the documentary "Pamela, a Love Story", as it's titled, is billed as an accurate portrayal of Anderson's life, backed by exclusive interviews and unreleased footage.
The images that the audience will watch, as we are told, are not at all related to fiction and all take place against the background of the actress and her two sons.
The new documentary and the restoration of truth
The documentary is expected to go in depth into the turbulent life of Pamela Anderson and to provide answers to many questions that have been raised over the years.
According to Vanity Fair, the famous actress had started gathering material for the new documentary years ago. While collecting the material, however, she learned about the Hulu series, which was actually released without her consent.
As she claimed, the new film comes to restore the truth since the documentary Pam and Tommy is full of inaccuracies.
As already announced by the streaming service, excerpts from her diaries, and every aspect of her romantic life will be presented, while at the same time her relationship with her children will be shown and her career successes will be analysed.
The film got the green light last March, with the very woman who made millions of men's hearts skip a beat at the sound of her name sharing the news on Instagram with a handwritten letter that read:
"My life. A thousand imperfections. A million misperceptions. Wicked, wild and lost. Nothing to live up to. I can only surprise you. Not a victim, but a survivor. And alive to tell the real story."

Essentially, the documentary chronicles Anderson's complicated journey from a small town in Canada to becoming a legendary Playboy pinup and Broadway star. In fact, Pamela Anderson, as she confirmed, narrates her love affairs, with the help of her son, Brandon Thomas Lee, who is also the producer.
Her sons encouraged her to make the documentary
It was the director of the memoir, Ryan White, who revealed that it was Pamela Anderson's sons, Brandon, 26, and Dylan Jagger Lee, 25, who convinced her to make the documentary.
"They adore their mother and really hate seeing her story being told by other people in a way that they don’t feel is authentic to who she is,” White said. “Pamela, by nature, is an incredibly open and honest person."
"That’s perhaps why Pamela’s gotten burned a lot in her life, but I also think that’s what’s so lovable and infectious about her," he added.
Anderson had Brandon and Dylan with Greek-American ex-husband Tommy Lee. Although the children had a tumultuous relationship with their father, they remained close to their mother:
"Brandon can talk me into anything with his sincere heart and a fierceness that only a son could have,” she told Vanity Fair in an e-mail. “He wanted to tell my story, authentically and without distortion."
As White explained, in the documentary the actress is expected to come across as disarmingly honest, and her raw honesty makes it "really emotional film."

In order for Ryan White to capture the whole story, he presented both sides of the coin, bringing the former partners of the actress back up to date.
Anderson and the "stolen sex tape"
In 1996, Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee found themselves in the spotlight when a video of them having sex was shown to millions of viewers after it was sold online. The film made millions in sales and completely tore the couple's life apart.
Lee's music career continued unscathed, but Anderson fought to be taken seriously again.
"Nobody knew the truth—even I don’t know 100% of what happened, but I think what is most important is to share my human feelings and how much it hurt and how it undeniably defined me moving forward—in my career and my relationships," she said.
The TV series titled "Pam and Tommy" described exactly this crazy story of the video leak, which is expected to be further explored in the Netflix movie and shed light on the unseen pieces of the case.
Anderson is played by actress Lily James, while Lee was played by Sebastian Stan.
The Pamela-Lee romance
The couple first met at a party on New Year's Eve 1994. Motley Crue drummer Lee had been married twice before to model Elaine Starchuk, with whom he split after a week, and actress Heather Locklear, to whom he remained married for seven years.

On their honeymoon, they decided to videotape their vacation, including having sex on board a luxury yacht. Later, the couple moved in together and hired a team of people to renovate their Malibu mansion. Rand Gauthier, the man who leaked the sex tape, was an electrician.
Tommy Lee was not happy with his work and fired him without even paying him. Gauthier returned home a few days later to demand the money, but then Lee allegedly pointed a shotgun and ordered him to leave.
So, Gauthier devised a plan to get "revenge". He decided to steal his 220kg safe in which he believed he kept his weapons and jewellery.
Gauthier spent the entire summer of 1995 planning the heist, and five days before Halloween, he decided to carry out his plan. He broke into the mansion and went to the garage, where the safe was located.
In the safe she found family photos, jewellery and the white bikini Anderson wore to her wedding to Lee. But he also discovered the film of sexual content.
The couple realised the safe was missing two months later. Immediately, he filed a lawsuit and hired a private detective, who was able to link Gauthier to the tape. In 1995, however, the internet had begun to make its appearance, with the tape going around the world, no longer able to be controlled.
Pamela Anderson paid the price, as even presenters made sexist comments, implying that she too was involved in the leak. On the contrary, Athens-born Tommy Lee was treated with admiration.
In February 2022, the new eight-episode series, 'Pam and Tommy', was released on the subject of the couple's infamous sex tape and was based on the interview given by the burglar, Rand Gauthier, to Rolling Stone magazine in 2014.
Despite being responsible for stealing the tape, Gauthier never faced jail time. Today, he resides outside of California, where he works as an electrician and grows marijuana in his garage.
The sex tape eventually made $77 million in sales within 12 months, and that was just the legal sales.
Anderson does not intend to see the film
The actress, as she pointed out to the surprise of many in Vanity Fair, has not seen the film and does not intend to see it.
“The documentary I haven’t seen, and I have no intention of seeing. I gave full access to my archives and diaries, and I hope that through full transparency, it makes sense to somebody," she said.
"Pamela, a Love Story" will premiere on January 31 and is produced by Jessica Hargrave, Julia Nottingham and Pamela Anderson's eldest son, Brandon Thomas Lee.
The documentary is directed by Ryan White, who has also directed 'The Keepers' and 'Ask Dr Ruth'.
