The Greek journalistic world has plunged into mourning after the sudden death of Panagiotis Tzenos, the general media manager of the Parapolitika group, at the age young age of 46.
Panagiotis Tzenos was in a hotel in the Upper Town of Patras where he suffered a heart attack. An ambulance was immediately called and a doctor at the hotel tried to revive him.
An ambulance crew arrived at the scene - a mobile unit with a doctor - and gave him defibrillation, but this was to no avail. He was then taken to the Agios Andreas hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
He was married to the journalist and deputy mayor of Piraeus, Andriana Zarakeli, with whom he had a son who is now 14 years old.
In recent years, he had written a great path in journalism, particularly through his radio show on Parapolitika Secret.
