Korina Emmanouilidou is hoping to be labelled as the the most beautiful woman in the world. Whether it will be her or somebody else, we will find out on the weekend.
The Miss Universe pageant will take place in New Orleans on January 14 and Greece is in with a good chance to be crowned as the winner.
The reason? Korina Emmanuilidou.
The Greek beauty from Veria, who is 180 centimetres tall, is determined to return with the crown and the title of the most beautiful woman in the world. She is 22 years old and has finished her studies to be a make up artist. Of course though, it is modeling that has won her over.

But before you scroll down and see more photos of her, you need to know two things about the outfit she will wear on the night of the finale. This year's National costume depicts the goddess Hera as a statue, a special construction which carries with it the message "Take Our History Back".
In this year's event, the countries have received a white silk cape, on the back of which they should craft and present through a story what each country wants to project.
Greece is still sending a strong message to the world and it is the now known "Take Aphrodite Home". Specifically, it depicts the statue of the Goddess Aphrodite of Milos, with the slogan "Take Me Home".
