Giorgos Tsalikis olympiacos

Giorgos Tsalikis strongly supports Olympiacos, both on social media and in yesterday's match against Aris.

The singer was at the Karaiskaki stadium on Sunday afternoon and closely watched the match between the two teams.

During his stay there, he filmed a humorous video in which he appears wearing a jacket with his beloved teams logo, having positioned himself behind a food cart outside the stadium.

In the clip, which he published on Instagram, Tsalikis invites people to buy hotdogs from him.

In the caption of his post he wrote: "Our Sundays".

Meanwhile, Olympiacos sealed a significant victory against Aris to capitalise on a PAOK misstep with OFI, jumping ahead of them into outright third.

The Piraeus giants downed the Thessaloniki side 1-0 at “Georgios Karaiskakis” Stadium on Monday morning (AEDT) in the most anticipated match of the Greek Super League’s 18th round.

Substitute Giorgos Masouras came on at the break for the hosts with immediate impact, scoring inside the opening minute of the second half to give his team the win.

The result sees Olympiacos go two points clear in third while also giving them a psychological edge ahead of Aris in the upcoming Greek Cup quarter-finals.

Panathinaikos found a late winner to record a crucial 0-1 away victory against Giannina, protecting their four-point lead in first in the process.

The Greens found their breakthrough deep into injury time when they were awarded a penalty by VAR, with Andraz Sporar slotting it into the top left to give his team all three points (90+5′).

AEK dominated Panetolikos 4-1 at “Agia Sophia” Stadium to build on their fantastic win over the league leaders last matchday.

Captain Sergio Araujo put Enosi in front 13 minutes in with an excellent volley into the bottom right before teammate Levi Garcia headed in a cross for his tenth goal of the season (35′).

The Agrinio outfit got one back through striker Joao Pedro’s penalty (39′) but midfielder Orbelin Pineda headed home another cross to restore AEK’s two-goal advantage (51′).

Winger Nordin Amrabat added the final touch to a phenomenal performance with a solid strike from range into the bottom left (55′).

Asteras Tripolis held on for a well-earned 0-0 home draw with Levadiakos after playing most of the game a man down.

The home side copped a major blow when midfielder Adrien Riera was sent off in the first half (24′), though they hung on to escape with a point.

PAOK was kept to a scoreless stalemate against OFI on Sunday morning in a bitterly disappointing result which sees the Double-headed eagle of the North slip into fourth.

Lamia and Atromitos played out a 1-1 draw at “Athanasios Diakos” ground, a good point for the Fthiotida club despite it extending their winless streak to 12.

The Peristeriotes took an early lead through a tap-in from winger Dorin Rotariu (8′) before Lamia centre half Georgios Kornezos equalised with a corner header into the top right (47′).

Left back Ivan Goranov was sent off late for a second yellow (82′), but the hosts managed to hold on for the point.

Ionikos and Volos will go to battle on Tuesday morning in the closing match of the round.
