$1 million lottery winner to use his prizemoney for an anniversary trip to Greece

Michael Paquette of Wilmington won his $1 million from the scratch ticket game “$10,000,000 Cash King.” Paquette purchased his ticket from E T D Food Mart in Tewksbury and claimed his prize on Jan. 10.

Paquette chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 before taxes. The Wilmington man told the lottery that he plans on putting some of his winnings towards a “dream” 35th-anniversary trip to Greece.

The store Paquette purchased his ticket at will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of the ticket.
