Lidl is consistently a "Top Employer" in Greece

For the 7th consecutive year, Lidl Greece was awarded by the internationally recognised and independent organisation Top Employers Institute with the title of Top Employer in Greece and Europe, for its orientation and actions for its over 6,700 people.

Companies receiving the Top Employer certification seek to ensure an exemplary working environment.

The certification process includes an analysis of companies based on Human Resources practices, holistically examining topics such as candidate attraction, training and development programs, well-being policies and actions, gender equality actions, and ensuring inclusive work environment free from discrimination.

This award comes as a result of Lidl Greece's actions. The company plans and implements a multitude of actions that ensure a friendly and team work environment of continuous training, development, supporting the family and offering equal opportunities to each and every one of its 6,700+ employees.

"The 7th consecutive year that we have received the certification as a Top Employer, comes to highlight the actions that we have implemented in recent years," said Nicoletta Kolomourda, HR Director & Member of the Board of Lidl Greece.

"We overcome challenges, such as the ever-changing environment, and continue to systematically and consistently provide each member of our large team with everything they need to be well. A working environment based on the concept of 'Together'," she added.

Lidl Greece is also planning new recruitments in stores, logistics centres and offices, further strengthening its presence in the Greek retail market with the aim of remaining an employer of choice, with stability and responsibility .
