Giorgos Tsalikis announced his candidacy in the upcoming municipal elections of 2023.

The singer, with a post on Instagram, announced that he is contesting the elections for the second time.

More specifically, Giorgos Tsalikis in the 2019 elections came second in votes in the Municipality of Peristeri and until recently held the position of Deputy Mayor of Culture and Friendship Centres of Peristeri.

In the new electoral contest, the singer will once again claim the vote of the citizens in Peristeri as a candidate for municipal councilor, alongside Andreas Pachatouridis.

Publishing two pictures of himself from the cutting of the pie at the Exhibition Center of Peristeri and next to Andreas Pachaturidis, Giorgos Tsalikis said: "We are moving forward! Another 5 years with Andreas in Peristeri!"

"I declare my candidacy in the next election and my intention is to continue, if you give me the opportunity, to be next to this man who has made Peristeri a major force in Western Attica and a model municipality for all of Greece! I want to continue to serve Peristeri, which I love!".
