Two speedboats carrying a total of 37 migrants were stopped by the Coast Guard in Kos

On the evening of Thursday in the "Therma" near Kos, shortly after 8 pm a Coast Guard vessel that was on a scheduled patrol spotted a suspicious speedboat moving at high speed the hellenic coast guard caught three alleged Turkish traffickers and 37 migrants.

According to reports, one of the three human traffickers arrested at the Greek island of Kos admitted he is a member of the Turkish Special Forces. On Nov. 2022 a Turkish corporal was also arrested in Greece for human trafficking.
