At the same time, there are still traffic problems in both Attica and other areas of Greece, with the main stoppage of traffic in both directions of the Athens-Lamia highway from the Kalyftaki junction to Oinofyta.

Traffic has also been stopped from the 261st kilometre to the 56th in both traffic directions. As a representative of the police stated, it is most likely that traffic on the Athens-Lamia National Highway will be restored after two hours.

At 7:25 it was announced that traffic was suspended in Katehaki and in both streams in its section from Mesogeion to Eleftheriou Veinzelou in Ilioupoli with traffic being restored at 8:14.

Meanwhile, as announced by Attiki Odos shortly after 8:10, its section from Kifissias to Marathonos in the direction to the Airport is closed, while a little later the exit for Karea Kaisariani on the Western Peripheral of Ymittos was opened.

In Attica, traffic has also been suspended on Parnithos Avenue from the height of Noussi Street to Parnitha, while on the Megaron-Alepochori provincial road at the height of the Louba area to Alepochori, driving can only be done with chains on the tyres.
