The symposium organised by the Athens Center for Indian & Indo-Hellenic Studies on Sunday at the Indian restaurant Jaipur Palace (121 Syngrou Ave., Athens) allowed students and teachers from the departments of Hindi, Sanskrit and Indian Philosophy to meet and greet for the first time.
The theme of the symposium was “Indian Vegetarian Cuisine and the Right Nutrition” during which many and conflicting opinions were expressed from an ethical and scientific point of view.

The discussion ended with the decision of the Center for Indian & Indo-Hellenic Studies to include in its courses a seminar on Indian Cuisine taught by Kula Rigas and Elena Karaiskou, two students of Hindi who work as professional Chefs in top hotels of Athens.

The prizes distributed in the lottery were offered by the publishing department of ELINEPA, the family of Maria Nicolaidis and Notis Anagnostou, and by Apostolos Kourtis, a producer of excellent wines from the region of Olympus (Kourtis Winery).
