AEGEAN is strengthening its presence in the Middle East, launching a direct connection between Athens and Kuwait and doubling the seats available on flights to and from Saudi Arabia with the addition of additional routes to Riyadh and Jeddah, as well as a new destination (Dammam).

With its presence in the region, AEGEAN connects through its hub in Athens the largest Arab countries of the Middle East with Greece and Europe.

According to an announcement by AEGEAN, the direct connection between Athens and Kuwait is part of its summer flight schedule for 2023 and flights will start operating in June.

Accordingly, the connection between Athens and Dammam, Saudi Arabia (the country's 3rd largest airport) will start in May this year and will significantly strengthen AEGEAN's activity in the Saudi Arabian market, as the operation of the route is planned for all year round.
