Alarms were activated at Parliament House in Canberra, Australia today with reports of a 'credible threat'.
HAZMAT teams were called in and sections of Parliament House placed in lockdown with reports of a 'suspicious package'.
According to Australian media, a bomb threat was made via a suspicious phone call to Parliament House.
Police responded to the incident at the main public entrance and visitors in the public car park were not allowed to leave while they investigated.
The lockdown ended a short while ago after Australian Federal Police confirmed that "nothing suspicious was located."
