SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance MP Aggeliki Adamopoulou, who had recently joined the party after leaving MeRA25, announced in a letter to the parliament president on Friday that she is leaving the party and will once more become independent.
In a post on the social media, Adamopoulou said that she has decided not to be candidate in the next elections and explained that she does not intend to be candidate for any party as she wants to retire from politics in the near future.
She also made it clear that she intends to retain her seat in parliament for the remainder of her term.
