Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias went to Fanari in Istanbul on Sunday and was received by the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.
The two discussed the spiritual and charitable work of the Ecumenical Patriarchate around the world, according to a related post by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Twitter.
Dendias attended the Patriarchal and High Priestly Divine Liturgy at the Patriarchal Church of Agios Georgios, as well as the memorial service for the victims of the train accident in Tempi and the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.
