Stavros Pantelidis, the father of beloved singer Pantelis Pantelidis, passed away on Saturday after a serious health problem.
The funeral of Pantelis Pantelidis' father, Stavros Pantelidis, took place in the holy church of Agios Spyridon in Nea Ionia.
Seven years after the death of his son, Stavros Pantelidis passed away, again plunging his family into mourning.
He had been hospitalised since January in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the KAT hospital, after a hemorrhagic stroke. Stavros fought for his life but did not succeed and breathed his last on Saturday, March 4.
As Konstantinos announced on social media, his funeral took place at 10:30 a.m. at the Holy Church of Agios Spyridon in Nea Ionia, while the burial will follow at the Metamorfosi cemetery.
"Tuesday 7/3 at 10:30 the funeral service of the father of Pantelides Stavros will be held at the holy church of Agios Spyridon in Nea Ionia and then the burial will follow at the Metamorphosis cemetery. Thank you for your love," Konstantinos wrote.
His son Konstantinos Pantelidis had spoken to "Proino" about his father's health. "I don't want to say much, as I'm not in a position. My father is still in hospital in a very critical condition, having suffered a stroke."
"The doctors are on top of him and are constantly updating us every minute about his health. I would like to thank people for the messages of love and wishes they send us.
"Also, I would like to thank the medical staff of the intensive care unit of the KAT hospital who are by our side. I wish health to the whole world. May everyone be well."
