Thanasi Kokkinakis continued his solid play in Indian Wells by winning another match comfortably 6-4 6-1 over the son of former player Tracy Austin - Brandon Holt but the toughest test is yet to come.
The 26-year-old, who has recently won a Challenger title, had to fight through the qualifying in Indian Wells. Kokkinakis had no problems in showing his qualities in the qualifying competition and secured his pot in the main draw.
However, when the Australian learned his brutal draw for the event, he certainly wasn't happy. In the first round of the tournament, Kokkinakis took on wild card Brandon Holt and that wouldn't be a problem. But in the second round, the first-seeded Carlos Alcaraz awaited the winner of this match.
