ATHENS: Bomb threat at Larissa station and two hotels

The Police evacuated the Larissa station, as well as two hotels in Metaxourgeio and Agios Panteleimonas, due to a bomb threat.

Specifically, at 8:40 a.m. phone calls were made that warned of a bomb explosion to occur three hours later at Larissa station and at the Novotel hotels in Michail Voda and Stanley in Metaxourgeio, Proto Thema reported.

By police order, the "Metaxourgeio" metro station was also evacuated due to a bomb threat.

Vehicular traffic was stopped on the Th. Diligianni side road, on Odysseos Street from the Kolonou to the intersection with Diligianni and on Michail Voda from tthe intersection with Liosion.
