Athens to Rhodes flight affected by bird entering the jet engine

138 passengers were inconvenienced when a bird flew into an airplane engine while it was heading to the airport of Rhodes.

The aircraft, at 08:25 am on Sunday, was flying from Athens to Rhodes but faced a problem, reported Demokratiki.

During the landing, one of the two engines faced problems due to the suction of a bird, as a result of which it became stuck and made the flight impossible.

The 138 passengers disembarked safely at the island's airport and departed two hours late.
