Cretan tavern brings the past back to life with broken plates and burnt drachmas (VIDEO)

A tavern in Chania prepared a special closing for this winter season by offering its customers a feast reminiscent of times gone by.

For this purpose, suitcases with five thousand dollars, stacks of plates and two... bidets ready to be broken were mobilised. The result? Very nostalgic and fun...

During the party, staff as well as customers started burning the fake banknotes, while there was also the classic smashing of plates with a hammer.

As can be seen in the following video, not even two bidets were spared from the hammer.
