Thessaloniki: Tourist ignored the cold and dived into Thermaikos Gulf (VIDEO)

Even if it is only 12 degrees Celsius in Thessaloniki and the cold is noticeable in the city, a tourist chose to swim in Thermaikos Gulf as if it were summer.

In front of the surprised eyes of the passers-by who strolled along the beach of Thessaloniki, a man dived into the sea, defying the cold of the last few days in northern Greece.

But he himself seemed to enjoy the lunchtime bath, even though he was all alone in the sea.

We may be a few days before the spring equinox, but March has a different opinion, with snow even falling in the mountains near Thessaloniki on Thursday.
