Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis was deified by the Pakistani community in Greece and the Pakistani Embassy in Athens for opening the first official mosque in the Greek capital since the city's liberation from the Ottoman Empire in the 1820's.

In fact, they not only thanked him for the opening of the mosque, but also for granting visa's to those Pakistanis who entered the country illegally under the guise of Syrian refugees.

It is recalled that Notis Mitarachi visited Islamabad and met with the then Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan.

"The Pakistani community in Greece is heartily grateful to Greek Prime Minister Kyriacos Mitsotakis," the Pakistani embassy wrote in a tweet.
