Greek superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo is releasing a joke book after reaching a deal with a major publishing company. Giannis, known for his… lame jokes, compiled and authored the book himself, Eurohoops reported.

Over the last years, Antetokounmpo has been busy collecting and categorising numerous jokes that he’s been hearing or reading while simultaneously testing how successful they are by telling them during pressers or in Instagram posts.

He’s also been working extensively on creating some jokes himself, along with the contribution of his brothers, especially Thanasis.

The book, which has the working title “Constipation” (since it hasn’t come out yet), will include several different categories of jokes divided into chapters. Some examples include: “So Bad it’s Great” and “Cheesy Goodness”.

Another will include NBA jokes focused on specific players, including Antetokounmpo himself.

The most prominent chapter will be one of “Dad Jokes” – a type that Antetokounmpo is particularly fond of.

Giannis also wants to include Greek and Nigerian jokes despite the challenges in successfully translating their humor.

In addition to paperback, hardback and eBook, the collection will also be released in audiobook form with Giannis himself narrating. The book is expected to be out on mid December 2023 to coincide with the Christmas holidays.
