Greek military chief thanks the patriotic monk of Mount Athos who blessed the pilots

A special "thank you" was sent via Twitter by the top Greek military chief, Konstantinos Floros, after visiting army units in Thrace.

The helicopter, with the leader of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (GEETHA) as a passenger, passed over Mount Athos where "we greeted and received the blessing of Monk Joseph".

As Konstantinos Floros reports, the monk "with his flag blesses the pilots coming out of the Holy Sanctuary of Agios Minas".

“The Armed Forces thank you. You inspire us," wrote the leader GEETHA in his message.
