The Turkish embassy in Athens today wished " Happy Easter " to Greek citizens with a post on Twitter written in Greek and Turkish.
"We wish our fellow Orthodox citizens and the Greek people a Happy Easter," said the post of the Turkish embassy, which less than a month ago had "congratulated the people and the government of the Hellenic Republic" for the National Day of March 25 - Greek Independence Day.
It is recalled that that post, which is part of a wider context of improving Greek-Turkish relations, had provoked reactions in Turkey, irritating the devotees of the "Blue Homeland" theory Cihat Yaycı and Cem Gürdeniz.
