Basketball World Cup 2023: Greece's potential opponents

The draw for the basketball World Cup will be held on April 29, with Greece naturally entering the draw and waiting to find out their opponents for the big date.

FIBA placed all the countries in pots, with the Greek National Team learning about their potential opponents. This means that there are also some restrictions on the teams it can find on its way to the World Cup in the group stage.

The 32 teams will be divided into 8 groups of 4 teams. Each group cannot have more than two teams from Europe but also more than one team from the continents of Africa, America, Asia and Oceania.

The World Cup will be held from 25/8 to 10/9 in the Philippines, Indonesia and Japan.
