Eleni Kapogianni is the coach of Iran's national basketball team

Greek coach Eleni Kapogianni will have a new experience in the summer of 2023 by coaching the Iranian basketball women's team.

The coach of Panathinaikos accepted the proposal that came from the Basketball Federation of Iran and will guide the National Women's Team of the Asian country in the Asian B2 Division Championship in Thailand in August.

Her duties in Iran will not affect her position at Panathinaikos, since Kapogianni will continue to lead the "greens". Among other things, she was a coach at Olympiacos while she also worked in Lebanon at Homenetmen Antelias.
