Man throws suspicious package at the Russian embassy in Athens

A suspicious package was thrown at the Russian embassy in Athens.

According to Proto Thema, a Greek went to the embassy located on Nikiforo Lytra Street in Psychiko, to deliver a package, but it was not accepted by security.

He then got into a taxi and as he was leaving he threw the package towards the embassy causing a stir.

The package was left outside the embassy. The Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit has been called in to check the item.
