In about a year, fuel prices have increased by almost half a euro per litre, while in the first months of the war between Russia and Ukraine, the price of unleaded oil had even exceeded 2.5 euros per litre.

Now the cost of 95 octane gasoline is close to 2 euros, a particularly high amount if you consider the price of oil per barrel.

In the prefecture of Attica and according to data from the Ministry of Development, the cost of 95 octane unleaded gasoline ranges between 1.80-1.95 euros, depending on the region.

Even these prices are considered particularly high and in a period when the cost of living has increased significantly, without the same happening with the salaries of the employees.

We see these prices in the prefecture of Attica as in many regions of our country. But what is true on the island of Mykonos, where, as you know, everything is expensive? As you can see from the News Auto images, the cost of 95 octane unleaded petrol is 35-45 cents more per litre!

The increase is steep and can be justified by the cost of rents and also of the working staff which is also at a high level.

However, according to data from the Ministry of Development, prices in Mykonos start from 2.159 euros and reach up to 2.275 euros per litre.

In short, to fill a 60 litre tank in Athens you have to pay almost 110 euros, while if you do the same in Mykonos the amount you have to pay is close to 135 euros. With reference to 100 octane gasoline, the prices almost reach 2.40 euros per litre!
