Greek Australian man dies on Motorcycle accident in Melbourne

George Sarantis Kallianis, a 19-year-old Greek-Australian died in a motorcycle road accident at Pascoe Road, Essendon last Monday. His funeral will take place on Tuesday at the Presentation of our Lord (Της Υπαπαντής του Κυρίου) Greek Orthodox Church in Coburg.

He was described by family and friends as a caring, loving, responsible young man who had healthy ambitions for life, aspiring to become an electrician, and had a great passion for motorcycles. The accident has shocked the Greek community in Melbourne¹.
