TUI: Strong demand for Greek islands this year, more than 2019 – The top destinations

Corfu, Greece, TUI

The TUI Group sees a strong demand for the Greek tourist market for this year, , even above the levels of 2019, based on data on summer booking trends from Germany, the first inbound tourism market for our country, with over 4 million visitors on an annual basis.

Greece remains one of the most favourite destinations for Germans this year with very good bookings for the top destinations of Crete, Corfu, Kos and Rhodes.

In addition, as the group's staff find, the demand is more than satisfactory for destinations such as Zakynthos, Karpathos, Santorini, but also in mainland Greece, specifically Halkidiki and the Peloponnese.

According to the data it cites, the group offers more choices than ever in Greece this year, with a portfolio for their own hotel brands and concepts that is constantly expanding.

Guests can choose from a total of 49 TUI hotels under the brands TUI Kids Club, TUI Blue, TUI Magic Life, Robinson, TUI Suneo and Atlantica, in addition to partner hotels of course.

New additions to this year's program include the 4-star TUI Suneo Althea Village hotel in Crete near Chania and the TUI Suneo Niriides Beach Hotel in Kos, south of the city.

It should be noted that Greece is also one of the top travel destinations for TUIfly, with 144 flights per week. At the same time, the group continues to increase its offer for Greece even outside the high summer season and from other European markets where it operates.

It is indicative that TUI Suisse, in view of the increased demand in the autumn season for Greece, secured additional capacities in Greece for flights in the two months of September-October for the group's most popular destinations such as Kos and Crete.

Accordingly, TUI UK from the United Kingdom made the first announcements a few days ago for the season of... 2024, announcing that it is adding an additional 250,000 seats from British airports to Greek destinations in the summer program of the next summer season, one year from now!
