Greek soccer federation (EPO) was reportedly close to an agreement for the Greek Cup final to be at the Panetolikos Stadium but is still looking to have the final in Cyprus at the GSP Stadium with no fans attending.
The decision to limit spectators comes due to a fear of fan violence. Professional Greek soccer has been plagued by fan violence for decades.
The Greek Cup final for the 2022-2023 season is scheduled to be held on May 24, 2023 and AEK will play Paok for the Final.
