A 13-year-old boy was bitten by a dog believed to be owned by Greek tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas' family in Vouliagmeni. The boy sustained leg injuries and was taken to hospital on 5 May.

The dog was in a protected area but managed to leave, though the reasons for the attack are still unknown. The victim was able to flee the animal and has no long-term health concerns, although he did sustain bites to his arms and legs.

Law enforcement has contacted the Tsitsipas family’s house assistant, who is presently out of Greece. She was responsible for caring for the animals, which were kept at the family home.
