Alexis Tsipras: The Right will become a minority in all of Greece as of Sunday

Alexis Tsipras

On Sunday, Greece will say goodbye to Prime Minister and New Democracy leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis, opening a new chapter for the country, SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance leader Alexis Tsipras said in Patras on Friday, during the last speech before a moratorium ahead of elections.

"I chose to conclude my campaign at Patras, Western Greece, where the Right was and is a minority. My message is that on Sunday it will be a minority in all of Greece," Tsipras underlined.

The main opposition leader said that "Greek society experienced the shock doctrine from a person who promised better jobs and wages, only to have the middle class live on coupons." He added that Mitsotakis inadvertently admitted that "his plan for the middle class is to punish and destroy borrowers who managed to save their homes."

It's about time you left, Mr. Mitsotakis, Tsipras said, addressing himself to the ND leader.
