It has been three years since Notis Sfakianakis appeared in public. His bassist and close friend spoke about the popular singer and where he is today.

In his statements on "Proino", the 28-year-old bassist of Notis Sfakianakis emphasised that the singer is fine and blamed his departure from the public and the dance floor on the actions of people who have upset him.

"He is not extinct. He is in his home because he has made a decision to withdraw from everyone and everything. We are brotherly friends. I have been his musician for 28 years, I talk to his wife, I talk to his children. I don't know what happened to him, but I know he is fine," he said.

The musician emphasised: "We have been together for 28 years. We have been friends since childhood, from the same neighbourhood."

Also, Sakis Pilatos mentioned Notis Sfakianakis: "Financially, he is good. Financially, he may have a lot of money, but also a lot of expenses. When you have 14 super luxury cars, when you have a villa... All I wish is for them to be fine. Just be good."

"He has isolated himself because he may have been upset with some people, or he may be ashamed to... because various things were heard, then with the..., with the weapons...

"Notis was always like this as a person even before he became famous. Whatever he felt, he said. Whatever bothered him, he said. He didn't think about the consequences. In other words, a politician entered the store with 3,000 people and shouted at him. This is how Notis is, what should we do."

Finally, he also mentioned the relationship Notis Sfakianakis has with his ex-wife and his children.

"They don't live together. She lives somewhere else now. But I know they have two children together, the property is half and half, so they talk," said the bassist about Notis Sfakianakis.

The last day of November 2020 is also the last that he made a public appearance, although not in the way he would have liked. The cameras recorded him with handcuffs on his hands and a mask on his face arriving at the courts on Evelpidon Street in order to testify to the prosecutor.

The previous day he had been arrested for illegal possession of weapons and possession of narcotics and after taking a deadline to testify he was released.
