Zakynthos: Danish couple left their one-year-old child in the car to go shopping (PHOTOS)

An incredible incident occurred on Wednesday morning in Tsilivi, Zakynthos.

According to Imera Zante, a Danish couple left their one-year-old child in the car to go shopping. Passers-by saw the child alone inside the vehicle and informed the police.

Police officers immediately rushed to the scene. They freed the baby, who was in good health but still taken by ambulance to the hospital for precautionary reasons.

According to police estimates, the child was alone in the car for over 30 minutes. The 34-year-old mother and her 31-year-old partner were arrested for endangering a minor and will be processed automatically.
