How much does a Ferrari cost in Greece?

Finally, expensive cars have again started appearing on Greek roads recently, but how much does the king of supercars, Ferrari, cost in Greece?

More and more models are being sold, and those who own such cars no longer have them locked in garages but drive them on the streets. The financial crisis that lasted almost ten years is a thing of the past, and purchasing expensive models is even an investment for some.

Lamborghini, Maserati, Bentley, etc., are gaining more and more fans because there are official dealerships that market them and take care of their maintenance.

Ferrari is a brand with quite significant sales, even in Greece. Until a few years ago, the Italian brand had an official representation in our country, but it stopped its activity due to the low demand caused by the economic crisis.

Nevertheless, quite a few wanted to own a Ferrari car, and they usually did so with second-hand ones brought in from abroad. A year ago, a new Ferrari was registered, something we had not seen since November 2012!

The main reason is the lack of representation and the excessive taxation on these types of cars.

A typical example is the purchase of a Ferrari F8 Tributo in Greece. And this is because if someone wants to acquire this particular model new and with Greek license plates, they will have to put their hand very deep in their pocket.

Extra taxes 160,000 euros!

According to News Auto, the Ferrari F8 Tributo costs 270,000 euros. From there on, if you add the Special Classification Fee which reaches 148,500 euros, 64,800 of the VAT and also the 1,700 euros that cost papers, plates, etc., then the amount jumps to 485,000 euros.

In short, the final price almost doubles in Greece due to taxes... The exact same car in Switzerland can be obtained by the interested party at a price that reaches almost 325,000 euros, i.e. 160,000 euros less...
