The INSETE research organization has recently introduced the Air Data Tracker, a complimentary tool that monitors seat reservations and bookings for incoming international flights.
The new tool, which comes after INSETE’s Recovery Tracker, collects, assesses and presents data on the evolution of airline seat planning and reservations offering a one-stop search for accurate inbound traffic data.
The flight schedule data undergoes weekly updates. The air seat planning data entails the distribution of seats on a monthly and weekly basis, sorted by airport and country of origin. Additionally, it provides a comparison with the corresponding data for the year 2022. The flight reservation information is refreshed on a monthly basis.
All information comes from UK-based global travel data provider OAG and covers approximately 75 per cent of all airline seats. The tool does not include booked seat data on charter flights and on some low-cost carriers, INSETE said.
